Covid-19 Refund Policy Addendum:
All camp payments are fully refundable until May 14th. In addition to the refund policies below, any cancellations made after May 14th, including those due to increased COVID restrictions, will receive 100% credit towards future camp use. Please call 970-718-6007 with any questions.
We want to work with you to accommodate requests for any cancellations. Below are our cancellation policies, refund policies for deposits, and full payments. Changes in travel plans, delayed or canceled flights, or other such reasons for not attending camp will not qualify for a refund. We reserve the right to grant exceptions to the stated policy in situations including, but not limited to, illness and death in the immediate family. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
All camp payments are fully refundable until May 14th if requested in writing. Since we hire staff and purchase equipment and supplies based on our enrollment numbers generated throughout the winter and spring, cancellations after May 14 will not be refunded. After May 14, we will provide a 100% credit towards future camp use (credits cannot be exchanged for cash). Furthermore, please see our refund policy regarding our ‘Fun Guarantee’ for further details regarding refund policies.
There are no refunds for campers expelled for inappropriate behavior. Inappropriate behavior includes bringing any weapon to camp, fighting, use of illegal drugs or alcohol, smoking, illegal use of fire, vandalism, stealing, repeatedly displaying an uncooperative attitude, or disrespecting others. Additionally, any other action that, in the directors’ opinion, threatens the health, safety, or well-being of any person or animal or the safe operation of the Camp will result in expulsion.

Reservation Cancellation Policy After May 14th
Punch Pass Cancellations (Camp for ages 7 & up) – Reservations may be canceled with 48-hours notice to receive future camp credit. Reservations can be canceled via your online parent account. Camp days will remain on your account for future use. Cancellations within 48 hours of your reservation will not be credited.
Junior Camp Cancellations (Camp for ages 5 & 6) – Reservations may be canceled TUESDAYS the week BEFORE your reservations to receive future camp credit. Reservations can be canceled by calling 970.718.6007 or by emailing email@example.com. Camp credit will remain on your account for future use. cancellations made AFTER the Tuesday before the junior camp week will not be credited.
Overnight Cancellations – Reservations may be canceled Mondays BEFORE overnight weekend to receive future camp credit. Reservations can be canceled by calling 970.718.6007 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Camp credit will remain on your account for future use. Cancellations made AFTER the Monday before the Overnight trip will not be credited
At the time of payment, you can opt to pay in full or a 35% deposit. After June 1st, all camp purchases must be paid in full. Any discounts incurred at the time of payment will remain regardless of paying in full or making a deposit.
The remainder of your payment is due prior to the first day that your child attends camp.
We are confident that every camper will have a great time at camp; and, therefore, offer this ‘Fun Guarantee.’ This only applies after the second day of camp attendance because often, there is a slight adjustment period for the camper that lasts more than a single day. If, after two days of attendance, your child wishes not to return to camp, you will be refunded for the prorated amount of the remainder of the child’s enrollment cost. For example, if you purchased a 10-day pass, and after two days your child chooses he/she does not want to return, you will be refunded for the remaining eight days. The ‘Fun Guarantee’ does not apply to campers expelled for inappropriate behavior.
Several activities require Ajax Adventure Camp to hire outside companies. All optional activities are subject to a minimum and maximum signup requirement and weather and water conditions. If more campers sign up than the outfitters have room or for which we have transportation, children will be permitted to attend on a first-come, first-served basis (i.e., when the camper signed up for the activity). If there is no space for your child, you will receive a refund. There will be no refunds if a trip is terminated early due to weather, fire, or other conditions beyond our control.
